COMM Engineering has global solutions for Climate Change Strategies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions such as methane and carbon dioxide (CO2). This includes reducing energy usage and reducing venting and flaring of natural resources. We do this by employing proven methods and technologies, experience and web-based tools.
We use our IQR methodology to reduce emissions and energy usage. This consists of the following steps:
- Identify sources of GHG emissions and energy usage
- Quantify and rank sources of GHG emissions and energy usage to set the baseline and monitor reductions
- Reduce sources of GHG emissions and energy usage through optimization methods and technology
COMM Engineering’s IQR methodology improves our customers overall greenhouse gas control strategy. Our proprietary software, COMMtracker™, stores, tracks, calculates and reports your GHG emissions using the internet. COMMtracker™ lets you set the baseline emissions and track reductions.
We help your company with measurement of emission sources (e.g., flaring and venting) using our vapor measurement unit (VMU). The VMU can measure low, cyclical flow of gases with 99% accuracy.
Our written recommendations give cost-effective optimization methods and selecting the technologies to reduce and recover GHG emissions and energy usage. Two of our technologies are the Ejector Vapor Recovery Unit (EVRU) and the Hydrocarbon Optimizer Stripper System (HOSS). In addition to the reduction and recovering GHG emissions, COMM has the expertise to capture GHG emission credits.
Our Energy Efficiency assessments can help you reduce energy usage, increase efficiency,
increase profits and reduce GHGs.
Our climate change strategy services mean you can have it both ways...improve the environment while increasing profits from once lost emissions...and COMM can make it possible. |
