COMM Engineering has global solutions for Climate Change to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions such as methane and carbon dioxide. This includes reducing energy usage and reducing venting and flaring of natural resources. We do this by employing proven methods and technologies and twenty years of air emissions experience.
COMM Engineering’s IQR methodology is used to identity, quantify, and reduce emissions. The method consists of the following steps:
Identify sources of GHG emissions
Quantify and rank sources of GHG emissions to set the baseline and monitor reductions
Reduce sources of GHG emissions through optimization methods and technology
Our EMS software, COMMtracker™, stores, tracks, calculates and reports your GHG emissions using the internet. COMMtracker™ lets you set the baseline emissions and track emission reductions.
We help your company with measurement of emission sources (e.g., flaring and venting) using our vapor measurement unit (VMU). The VMU can measure low, cyclical flow of gases with 99% accuracy.
The USEPA's Proposed Greenhouse Reporting Rule should be finalized in October, 2009.
COMM Engineering has the knowledge, expertise and experience personnel to help companies comply with the new regulation. Below is a link to the EPA's web page:

Our recommendations provide cost-effective optimization methods and technologies to reduce and recover GHG emissions. COMM's patented Ejector Vapor Recovery Unit (EVRU ) is being utilized on four continents today. In addition to the reduction and recovering GHG emissions, COMM has the knowledge and expertise to capture GHG emission credits.
Our GHG services will keep you in compliance and improve the environment!
